Forthcoming Club Weekends

Congleton Ramblers Weekend Away -October 24th - 27th, 2025

I have provisionally booked the weekend away in 2025 at Longmynd HF in Church Stretton, Shropshire on the weekend of Friday 24th October to Monday 27th October 2025. It is for three nights. Three nights full board is £290 per person. There are no single supplements. There are nine single rooms and seven twin/double rooms. More rooms may be available, if demand is high.   We will offer varied guided walks by our walk leaders. In addition, there is a discovery point in the hotel which has local walking maps, routes and local information for anyone wanting to guide themselves.

Church Stretton is a historic market town. The town was nicknamed “Little Switzerland” in the late Victorian and Edwardian period, because it is dominated by surrounding hills.

 If you are interested in going, please send me an email with the following information. The first name and surname of who is going Choice of a single, double or twin room Dietary requirements if any Allergies to any foods We will need a payment of £75 per person. Once we have transferred the money to HF it is non refundable. However, if you have to cancel, we will try to use that  deposit for someone else and you will be refunded.

 If you paying for two people both surnames are  required followed by deposit.  Please can you email me and pay the deposit by 5pm on Wednesday 11th December, 2024 so we can confirm and secure our booking.
