About Us

We are a local group of the ramblers: Congleton ramblers
Ramblers is Britain's walking charity, working to protect and expand the places people love to walk and to promote walking for health and pleasure.

You may have the impression that we are all part of the tweed jumpers and woolly hat brigade etc
This is in the main not the case - although it has to be said that Bob is a sight to behold in his rain cape!!!
We welcome everyone - young, old, (or in between), on your own or with a friend or partner. We would like to see more people join the club to enjoy the beautiful countryside that is on offer.

If you would like to join the club you need to join the Ramblers (You are more than welcome to come on a few walks before deciding to become a member) - please visit http://www.ramblers.org.uk  where you can either join online or print out a form to join by post, Remember to add "Congleton" as the group if you wish to be included in our group.
